Before the Trip

Something about intense traveling necessitates periodic navel-gazing blog updates. Because I will be keeping a journal for a grade for the next few months, I thought I would publish it to all of you.

As expected in rural areas of developing countries, I'll have intermittent internet access. However, I would be honored if you do read what I do manage to post. I leave for Alaska on Jan 7!
